METODE PELAKSANAAN KONSTRUKSI PELAT LANTAI KONVENSIONAL DAN PELAT LANTAI PRECAST

Abstract

Floor slabs are one of the most important structural elements in building construction. One of the efforts made by the project manager is to replace conventional methods to be more modern, namely by applying precast concrete. The conventional method of casting implementation is carried out on site, while precast implementation includes the production process carried out in a special place, then brought to the project site (transportation) to be arranged into a whole structure. The method used. In this study the purpose that has been complied by the author is to find out conventional and precast methods as well as to find out the advantages and disadvantages of floor slab structure work. The research method used is a qualitative research method, by making observations during construction work and collectiong information in the form of interviews with workers who are doing work. From these two methods, it is easier for project managers th choose alternative implementation methods. If we look at the implementation stage, it can be concluded that a quicker and easier method is precast floor slabs. If it is assumend the precast concrete is produced outside the project location, it will required heavy equipment to send the precast concerete to the project location and will be espensive. And if precasst concrete is produced location, the cost of implementating precast floor slabs will be cheaper.
