This study aims to analyze the implementation of transparency and accountability and their influence on public trust in government institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving government officials and members of the public as service users. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that transparency and accountability in government institutions have been implemented, but not yet optimally. Transparency remains largely administrative in nature, with limited access to and clarity of information for the public, while accountability is predominantly manifested as internal bureaucratic responsibility. The level of public trust is categorized as moderate and is influenced by community experiences in accessing information and receiving public services. This study confirms that transparency and accountability play an important role in shaping public trust; therefore, enhancing information openness and establishing clear and responsive accountability mechanisms are key to strengthening public trust in government institutions.
