Through this community service activity, the Community Service Team of the Indonesian Science University in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bandung City held a blood donation activity at H&H Cafe, Bandung, on February 8, 2025. The main objective of this activity is to increase public awareness of the importance of blood donation, introduce the application of strategic management in social activities, and increase community participation in blood donation. This activity managed to collect 63 blood bags, exceeding the initial target of 50 bags. The success factors of this activity include effective promotion through social media, efficient resource management, and clear target setting. The principle of strategic management was applied to optimize the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities, so that they can achieve long-term success. Despite facing obstacles such as limited space and lack of volunteers, solutions such as donor scheduling and additional volunteers managed to overcome these obstacles. This activity not only meets the need for blood in Bandung City, but also increases public awareness of the benefits of regular blood donation. Recommendations for the future are to carry out blood donation activities routinely with a broader strategic management approach to increase efficiency and participation.
Umban Adi Jaya Herni Herdiani Riani Winarni Rizki Chrisulianti Bambang Somantri Copyright (c) 2025 Umban Adi Jaya; Herni Herdiani, Riani Winarni, Settings Rizki Chrisulianti ,Bambang Somantri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-07-19 2025-07-19 6 2 11 17 10.51622/pengabdian.v6i2.2700 Pelatihan Dasar Pembuatan Website Online Shop di SMA Negeri 2 Mawasangka Tengah Desa Watorumbe Bata https://ejournal.uhn.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/2559
Watorumbe Bata Village, located in Mawasangka Tengah, Buton Tengah, is home to a majority of residents working as farmers, fishermen, and weavers. This community engagement initiative was designed to strengthen the digital skills of HKBP ministry personnel in District XII Tanah Alas through structured training and intensive guidance. The program was executed through interactive presentations, focus group discussions (FGD), practical simulations involving digital tools, and evaluations conducted before and after the activities. Findings revealed that participants’ baseline digital capabilities were generally at a low to moderate level, yet experienced notable improvement following the intervention. Church staff began to exhibit proficiency in embedding digital technologies into everyday ministry, including using Zoom for virtual worship, leveraging social media for church-related communication, and employing applications for managing congregation data. The participants’ active involvement demonstrated their eagerness for a ministry model that is both adaptive and contextually grounded. This initiative further emphasized the long-term promise of digitalization in addressing geographical barriers and broadening the scope of church outreach. Sustained progress requires ongoing training and institutional backing to maintain relevance and coherence throughout the transformation journey. In conclusion, this initiative marks a foundational step for HKBP in cultivating a digitally-driven ministry ecosystem anchored in theological principles and cultural heritage.
Nurliani Siregar Hisar Siregar Justinus Ray Nainggolan Melissa Feblistira Nababan Rohit Yoben Sibarani Copyright (c) 2025 Nurliani Siregar, Hisar Siregar, Justinus Ray Nainggolan, Melissa Feblistira Nababan, Rohit Yoben Sibarani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-07-29 2025-07-29 6 2 70 82 10.51622/pengabdian.v6i2.2873 Sosialisasi Pembelajaran Myob Berbasis Video Animasi Di Smk Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat https://ejournal.uhn.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/2678
The learning process is a series of reciprocal relationships that take place between teachers and students in educational situations to achieve educational goals. This reciprocal relationship is the main condition for the learning process to take place. One of the goals of the learning process is behavior change, which includes changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Achievement of the objectives of this learning process can be seen from the learning outcomes obtained as well as the attitudes and behavior of students in everyday life. However, various obstacles are still often encountered in implementing the learning process. This application is designed to assist teachers and educators in accurately identifying the special needs of students in a comprehensive manner, enabling the provision of appropriate educational interventions according to each student's profile. The methods used include the development of a web-based application for student profiling, training teachers on how to use the application, and providing support during daily implementation. The first stage involves collecting data on students' special needs and assessing their conditions. This data is then integrated into the application, creating a comprehensive profile for each student, covering academic, social, emotional, and special needs aspects. Once the application is ready, intensive training is provided to teachers and relevant staff on how to use and leverage the application in the learning process. Support is provided to ensure smooth implementation and offer technical assistance if needed. The results of this activity show that the use of the student profiling application improves teacher efficiency in managing inclusive classrooms. Teachers can quickly access essential information about students' special needs and design more adaptive teaching strategies. Moreover, the application enhances parental involvement in supporting their children's learning process. Overall, this activity has successfully improved the quality of inclusive services at SMAN 2 Mengwi and is expected to provide a sustainable solution for managing inclusive education in schools.
Ida Ayu Agung Ekasriadi I Wayan Sumandya I Wayan Edi Sanjana I Wayan Widana Copyright (c) 2025 Ida Ayu Agung Ekasriadi, I Wayan Sumandya; I Wayan Edi Sanjana, I Wayan Widana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-08-01 2025-08-01 6 2 92 106 10.51622/pengabdian.v6i2.2515 Peningkatan Mutu Biji Cokelat Dengan Sistem Pengeringan Otomatis Berbasis Internet of Things https://ejournal.uhn.ac.id/index.php/pengabdian/article/view/2848
The type of drying tool depends on the amount of production, availability of resources, and capital owned by farmers. Automatic drying enables farmers to use various types of agricultural and plantation products, which require special drying equipment. Chocolate is a type of plant that is easy to grow and also provides high profits for farmers. After the harvest, farmers separate the cocoa beans to be dried in the sun. Drying relies on sunlight, it takes days to dry. To facilitate drying cocoa beans, farmers are introduced to automatic tools using sensors. The Internet of Things (IoT) works based on the type of sensor, the sensor reads the data and then works to produce temperature and heat that makes it easier to dry chocolate.
