Dampak Credit Union Galimadu Terhadap Peningkatan Pendapatan Anggota Desa Perpanden Kecamatan Kutalimbaru

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain the impact of the Galimadu Credit Union toward the increasing of members’ income in Perpanden village, Kutalimbaru subdistrict. Credit Union is a financial institution in the savings and loans sector or usually known as a savings and loans cooperative, in its business activities namely collecting funds from cooperative members by creating credit sources from and for members with relatively low interest. This research used qualitative methods with the key informants are 11 Credit Union administrators and supporting informants that were 8 Credit Union members and 2 local government people. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this research was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model with data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and triangulation. The results of the research proved that the Galimadu Credit Union was impacted toward the increasing of members’ income in Perpanden village, Kutalimbaru subdistrict.
