PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN SELF EFFICACY MELALUI PENGALAMAN MENGAJAR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA DI SMP NEGERI 14 MEDAN

The problem in this study is the low interest in learning students at SMP Negeri 14 Medan. This study aims to determine the effect of Self Efficacy Ability through Teaching Experience on Increasing Student Learning Interest in SMP Negeri 14 Medan. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 14 Medan, with a population of 30 teachers teaching in class, the sampling technique in this study used the saturated sample method. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The analysis requirements used are normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests and mulylyolinearity tests, the data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t test (partial hypothesis testing), F test (simultaneous hypothesis testing) and coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that Self Efficacy (X1) had a partial influence on Learning Interest (Y) with a calculated value of > table (3,120 > 1,701). While the Teaching Experience variable (X2) has a partial influence on student learning interest (Y) with a calculated value of > table (3,040 > 1,701). The results of the test indirectly using the Sobel Test Calculator with a significance of 0.05 then the calculation gets a value = 1.953 > 0.05 so from there there is no indirect contribution between self-efficacy (X1) through Teaching Experience (X2) to Increase Student Learning Interest (Y). Using the F test at a significance level of 0.05, the test results simultaneously show that there is an influence between self-efficacy (X1) and teaching experience (X2) together on student learning interest (Y). This can be seen from the value of Fcalc> Ftable of 8.814 > 3.34.
