Jurnal PENERAPAN BIMBINGAN BELAJAR DENGAN MODEL TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL (IPS)

This study aims to determine the application of tutoring with the Two Stay Two Stray model on social sciences learning outcomes. The research subject was the SMPN 1 Tapian Nauli, and the object of the research was class VIII. This type of research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were student learning outcomes tests, documentation, the teacher observation sheets, and the student observation sheets. From the observation data on student learning activities, it was found that there was an increase in student learning activities in cycle I and cycle II. In the cycle I, the learning activity category was a very high 0 %, high category 10.71%, moderate category 89.28%, low category 0%. In the cycle-II, the results of the observation showed that learning activities were in the very high category of 39.28%, and the high category was 60.71%. The value of student learning outcomes in the cycle I obtained learning completeness of 35.71% with an average value of 61.92. While in the cycle II, learning completeness was 89.28% with an average value of 80.82. The findings showed that the application of tutoring with the Two Stay Two Stray model can improve students' social studies learning outcomes.
