This study aims to determine the effect of the Word Square Learning Model on the Improvement of Economic Learning Outcomes. This type of research is experimental research with the research population, namely students of class X SMA. With purposive sampling technique, the research sample was obtained from the experimental class (X-1) and the control class (X-2). The instrument used is a test of student learning outcomes with student process skills observation sheets. Based on the research results, student learning outcomes using the Word Square learning model are better than using conventional methods in class X SMA Parulian 2 Medan. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental class 57.3 and the control class 50.5
