Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of using Hypnoteaching Method on the Learning Outcomes of Students in the Work and Energy Topic in Grade X MIA of SMA Swasta Permata Kasih Academic Year 2020/2021.This type of research is pre-experimental research with the population of this study, namely all students of class X MIA SMA Swasta Permata Kasih. The sample in this study consisted of one class that were purposive selected by means of the purposive sampling technique, The research instrument used was the observation sheet of student learning activities and objective tests in the form of multiple choices. Based on the results of observations of student learning outcomes which can be obtained from the pretest mean score 23,73. with a standard deviation of 11.39 and the average posttest 48,80 with a standard deviation of 12.58. From the results through the two correlated sampels t-test for pretest and postest data of the class for α = 0.05 and dk = 58, it was obtained tcount = 14.701 and ttable = 1.671, with tcount> ttable, then Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected. So, based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Hypnoteaching on the learning outcomes of students in the work and energy topic in grade X MIA of SMA Swasta Permata Kasih TP 2020/2021. While the linear regression test with the equation Y = 25,95 + 0,33X indicated the significant effect as well. Then, based on the correlation test with value of correlation coefficient were r = 0,69 categoriezed the relationship between each variable as strong
