EVALUASI PELAYANAN ANGKUTAN BUS DAMRI RUTE KELILING AREA SAMOSIR BERDASARKAN BIAYA OPERASI KENDARAAN

Abstract

Transportation is important for human survival. Almost all aspects of life depends on transportation both land, sea and air transportation. Starting from the economic industrial sector, education, religion, tourism, agriculture and so on. However, currently transportation in Samosir is still inadequate. Therefore, with the existance of DAMRI buses, it is hoped that transportation needs in Samosir can be resolved. This final project research aims to determine the level of effectiveness of DAMRI from the user’s side as public transportation in Samosir and DAMRI bus services as public transportation. In this research, two are data collection analysis method, namely the validation test method df = (n – 2), to find out how efficient the level of validity of the quistionnaire used is, and a reability test to show the level of reliability, namely the Cronbach’s alpha level, a calculation carried out by calculating the value the intercorrelation between the questions contained in the questionnaire (≥ 0.60) is saind to be reliable. Based on research conducted by researches, the research results obtained from the calculation show that the evaluation of DAMRI bus services for routes around the Samosir area based on performance attributes is performance effectiveness is 86.82%. Therefore, the evaluation of the service level of the DAMRI bus route around the Samosir area reached 86.82% which operates very effectively as a mode of public transportation.
