Abstract

Green Open Space (RTH) has an important role in maintaining the balance of urban ecosystems and improving the quality of the living environment. This research aims to analyze the availability and need for green open space in the Tanjung Pura urban area based on quantity aspects in accordance with standards set by the government. The method used in this research includes spatial analysis using Geographic Information Systems (SIG). The research results shows that the area of green open space in the Tanjung Pura urban area still does not meet the minimum requirement of 30% of the total area as regulated in statutory regulations. As a solution, this research recommends increasing land allocation for green open space, strengthening and supervision, as well as active community involvement in environmental conservation efforts. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that RTH can function more effectively in supporting ecological sustainability and improving the quality of life of the community.
